I first met Fiona and David one evening in a London pub. We started talking about their wedding but the conversation soon turned to music and books, two of my favourite things. We sat around comparing notes on gigs and our favourite bands, getting to know each...

London Town Hall Wedding A little bit of beautif London Town Hall Wedding
A little bit of beautiful chaos, a lot of love, and one very good reason to gather everyone together.
There’s something so special about the moments that happen when nobody is really thinking about the camera. A half-finished conversation, a dress caught mid-movement, someone laughing, someone watching, someone simply taking it all in.
This is the stuff I love most about weddings, not just the big, polished moments, but everything happening around them. The people. The personalities. The tiny interactions. The glorious unpredictability of having all your favourite humans in one place.
Because when the confetti settles and the flowers have wilted, these are the photographs that bring you straight back. You can almost hear the laughter, feel the sunshine, remember exactly who was standing beside you.
The inbetween moments are always my favourites and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Coin Laundry Wedding, Exmouth Market I swear the Coin Laundry Wedding, Exmouth Market
I swear the dance floor is often the part of the day my couples look forward to most.
Hot, messy, sweaty, completely unfiltered. Dancing to your favourite songs with all your favourite people, there is absolutely nowhere else you need to be.
It’s the bit where the day really lets go. Jackets come off, hair gets wild, sometimes ties end up around peoples heads, everyone’s shouting the words and for a few hours it’s just you, your people and the music.
And, do you know where you will find me? Right in the middle of it all and singing along to all the songs and having an absolute blast photographing the chaos.
Honestly, nothing beats it.

The Hackney Wedding with @cherryandferncelebration The Hackney Wedding with @cherryandferncelebrations
There are so many “rules” when it comes to weddings but imagine if you threw them all out the window and created a wedding day that reflects you as a couple.
A celebrant-led ceremony can be a beautiful opportunity to create something that feels completely, unapologetically you. A ceremony that tells your story, celebrates the journey that brought you here, and reflects the people you are together.
Forget the script you think you’re supposed to follow. Forget the traditions that don’t feel like you.
Keep the ones that do, make up your own, laugh loudly, cry freely and let the whole thing be a true reflection of your love.
Because this isn’t just about one day.
It’s about everything you’ve been through together, everything that brought you to this moment, and the incredible adventure that’s waiting just around the corner.
Your wedding. Your story. Your rules.
And honestly, that’s the best rule of all.

Coin Laundry Wedding There’s something about rai Coin Laundry Wedding
There’s something about rainy city streets that makes everything feel a little more cinematic.
The blurred lights.
The quiet rhythm of footsteps.
The dress scooped up in hands.
His hand finding her waist as they disappear into the afternoon.
No perfect weather. No perfect backdrop. Just the two of them, moving through the city together, letting the rain become part of the story.
Because sometimes the most beautiful photographs happen in the inbetween moments when the day is winding down, the streets are empty, and you forget anyone is watching.
A little rain. A little romance.
And a whole lot of forever.
Here’s to the kind of love that doesn’t need sunshine to shine.
