The joys of a London pub wedding. A little bit o The joys of a London pub wedding.
A little bit of chaos, a lot of heart, and absolutely no need for everything to be perfect.
The clinking of glasses, the hum of conversation, the smell of the pub, the squeeze of a hug that lasts just a little longer than usual. The laughter spilling out onto the pavement, the music, the happy tears, the people you love most all gathered in one place.
These are the moments I want you to remember. Not just how it looked, but how it felt.
The beautifully imperfect bits. The moments you didn’t plan. The things you might not even notice happening until you look back at your photographs years from now.
Because your wedding photographs should do more than show you what happened. They should take you right back there. To the sounds, the smells, the warmth, the butterflies, the belly laughs and all that lovely, messy, wonderful love.
A little reminder that the magic was never in getting everything just right. It was in being there, together, living every bit of it.
And honestly? That’s what London pub weddings do so beautifully.

Asylum Chapel Wedding The journey to the ceremon Asylum Chapel Wedding
The journey to the ceremony is always one of my favourite parts of a wedding day. There’s something so beautifully surreal about being on the way to the place where you’re about to say “ I do” The anticipation, the quiet excitement, the little moments of reflection before everything changes.
A bride on her wedding day, wrapped in layers of soft tulle and golden afternoon light. Seen through the car window, the outside world feeling almost dreamlike, a glimpse of a bride between one chapter and the next.
I love these in between moments. No grand entrance, no perfectly composed portrait, just the journey, the anticipation, the person you love waiting at the other end, and the feeling that something extraordinary is about to begin.
And then, suddenly, you arrive.

Orleans House Wedding A little bit of golden ligh Orleans House Wedding
A little bit of golden light, a room full of stories, and those in between moments you wish you could bottle.
The laughter. The glances. The half-finished conversations. The ridiculous dancing. The quiet moments in amongst the noise.
Because the real magic of a celebration is rarely found in the perfectly posed moments. It’s in the living of it.
And this is why I think trusting the people you’ve chosen to bring your day together matters so much.
When you trust your photographer, your planner, your caterer, your florist, your venue, when you know the people around you have got it, you’re given something incredibly precious in return: SPACE
Space to put the timeline down. Space to stop wondering whether everything is running to plan. Space to be fully present with the people you love.
To drink the champagne while it’s still cold. To lose yourself in a conversation. To dance until your feet hurt. To wander into another room and find your favourite people gathered there.
To immerse yourself completely in the celebration, rather than watching it from the sidelines wondering whether everything is being captured.
Because it is.
That’s the beauty of documentary photography. You don’t need to manufacture the moments for me. You don’t need to perform for the camera.
You just need to trust your people, let go, and be there.
I’ll be there too, quietly paying attention, noticing the fleeting glances, the belly laughs, the tiny gestures and all the beautiful, imperfect pieces that make your day yours.
And when it’s all over, you’ll have more than photographs of what happened.
You’ll have a record of how it felt to be completely immersed in it.

Intimate Hackney Restaurant Wedding An intimate Intimate Hackney Restaurant Wedding
An intimate Hackney wedding, spent exactly how J&F love to spend their time.
Long lunches that turn into dinners, champagne in the late summer sun, plates passed around the table and all their favourite people gathered in one place.
At their favourite restaurant, the afternoon unfolded slowly. Champagne flowed, laughter carried down the street and conversations lingered long into dinner. Plates were shared, stories swapped and the kind of heartfelt chats you wish could go on forever.
No fuss, no big production. Just really good food, really good people, and a whole lot of love.
A day that felt so unmistakably THEM, a true reflection of how they spend their time and the people they love most.
And a little reminder that your wedding can be whatever you want it to be. It doesn’t have to follow traditions or fit a certain mould. It can be shaped around the things that make you happy, the people you love and the way you want to spend your day.
Sometimes, the simplest celebrations are the most meaningful ones.
