I know it can be a little daunting sharing them in front of your family and friends and if that all feels a bit too much why not share the privately. Set aside some time during your portraits or first look, find a quiet spot away from everyone and read your vows to each other. I can be present to document the moment, out of earshot so your words still remain private or we can create time in your schedule and I can stand guard to ensure you aren’t disturbed.

The Hac Bow Wedding
I often talk about connection at weddings, not just the connection between the couple and the people there to celebrate but also connections with the spaces, the music, the styling and this wedding was full of those connections.
These two picked a ceremony space just round the corner from where they used to live, a space where their relationship flourished and then headed to their old local pub. This is what I mean when I talk about connections and filing their day with meaning. They fell in love in the area, in the spaces. They picked spaces that held memories for them, creating a level of connection that resonates with their story and add layers to their memories. Wha an incredible story to be a part of!

I think this might be one of my favourite venues. It’s such a beautiful space full of light and texture. A real blank canvas that allows a couple and their personal style shine.

Now this is what a dance floor should look like, people crammed into every inch and dancing like no one is watching.

A lot of my couples don’t want to be in the limelight and the thought of a first dance scares the hell out of them. I completely understand this and have been chatting to my couples about how to change things up and how they can have a first dance without the fear.
I always ask my couples what they are most looking forward to and what they are worried about and I love brainstorming ideas of how to make the scary stuff fun and a little less daunting.
