Soho Wedding

Soho Wedding

A chilly Saturday in October, requires a leather jacket and a fair amount of hugs to keep warm. Kat & Si picked the Union Club for their Soho Wedding and I have to say, it is one of my favourite venues in Central London. After a few drinks at the reception, we headed out into Soho for their portraits. There was a lot of laughter, and lots of strangers shouting ‘congratulations’, which always makes me smile. I found a few little quiet spots for some photos and we headed back to the Union Club for their speeches and dinner.  Just before the evening guests arrived, we headed to their hotel so they could check in and to get a few more portraits surrounded by the lights of Soho.

I have to say, I love shooting night portraits, it makes you look at your surroundings a little differently and provides a great contrast to the photographs from earlier in the day. After a quick walk through Soho, these two were greeted with cheers as they walked back into The Union Club. The dance floor was filled with balloons, cocktails were handed out and the dancing started.

This is just a small selection of images from Kat & Si’s wedding day and I can not wait to get started on the full edit.
