St John Wedding – Modern Wedding Photography

What can I say about these two apart from the fact I fell in love with these two from their first email.  When we met at St John Bar & Restaurant to talk about their plans, we talked more about music and furniture than what they had planned, which is always a good sign.  We did their engagement shoot at the Barbican and when it came round to their wedding day, I think I was just as excited as they were.  From their choice of song for Jen to walk down the aisle to, which had me in tears, to their personal vows, to the party later on that day…I was one very happy photographer.

Apart from the above, there are three things that will always make me smile about their day.

1. That rug in the picture above, that is the rug from their flat, that Johnny proposed on.  It is now the rug that they got married on.

2. These guys added Alexisonfire to their playlist during their reception and the moment it was played there was a knowing nod between all the guests, including me, that love that band.

3. I will never forget dancing late into the night with these guys to some of really good music.
