When Ishita got in contact with me, she described her day as a relaxed day with bursts of vibrant colour mixing an English garden party with Indian accents. Ishita and Matt really wanted to celebrate with their close friends and family and for everyone to be surrounded by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, for everyone to be able to relax and enjoy their day without too many formalities. When I arrived at Ishita’s hotel I was welcomed with the biggest of hugs and it felt like I was part of the family.  Ishita was so relaxed and it was so amazing to see her mum dress her in her sari. The fabric Ishita had chosen was just beautiful and when she was fully dressed, I was taken aback by how stunning she looked.
At the ceremony, there was a lot of excitement in the air and a few tears were shed.
What had started out as a grey day suddenly changed as we drove to their reception. They picked the perfect venue and perfect day to celebrate. The sun was shining and everyone wandered around the walled gardens, sipping on tea, drinking cider and eating cake. There was no pressure to stand on ceremony, the kids ran around, got lost amongst the flowers and Ishita and Matt got the chance to sit back, relax and enjoy the celebrations.

To Ishita and Matt, thank you so much for letting me be a part of day. You welcomed me into your family for the day and for that I will be forever grateful.  I hope you guys have the most amazing life together and I look forward to hearing about your adventures.
