The Barbican Conservatory

I love this place, like really LOVE this place. So much so that when I got married, we had our wedding portraits here and practiced our first dance amongst the Barbican towers.

Tucked away in the middle of the city, the Conservatory provides a rich green tapestry of a backdrop in complete contrast to the hand chiseled concrete of the Barbican exterior. I have spent many hours in and around The Barbican documenting the beautiful architecture, the atmosphere and the light.

This is the most amazing place for a wedding. Licensed for ceremonies, you can have your whole day in the space. Your ceremony nestled in amongst the plants, drinks on the terrace overlooking the main conservatory and portraits on the balconies, with a wall of plants as your backdrop. Come rain or shine, this is a perfect venue no matter what the weather.
