I love how each wedding I photograph reflects the couple and this wedding was no different. A small intimate ceremony at Hackney Town Hall followed by the most incredible and intimate lunch at @dalla.restaurant J&F wanted to treat their favourite people to an absolute feast and Dalla did not disappoint. With J&F they planned a day that was small and intimate, going to their favourite restaurant with their favourite people to feast on the most incredible food. This was a real celebration of love and connection. The energy in their tiny little restaurant in a little corner of Hackney was incredible. I don’t know if it’s the movement, the closeness, the sense of community but I just love this image. It’s perfectly imperfect, not a major moment, nothing big is going on but it takes me right back to this day, the cold air, the sound of everyone chatting away, the excitement of getting married and that’s the magic of photography, a moment in time that can never be replicated but thanks to a photograph, you can be transported back to that day, reminded of the love, the joy, the celebration.
