With J&F they planned a day that was small and intimate, going to their favourite restaurant with their favourite people to feast on the most incredible food. This was a real celebration of love and connection. The energy in their tiny little restaurant in a little corner of Hackney was incredible. The sun shone, laughter filled the room and the excitement built for the party that was to happen that night. It was everything I love to photograph! . . . . . I don’t know if it’s the movement, the closeness, the sense of community but I just love this image.
