So here is part two of my best of 2016 wedding photography. I decided to split my round up into two. I tried so hard to get the selection under 100 photos but I just couldn’t do it and then I was worried there might be too many photos, too many images for you to look through in one sitting, so two parts seemed to make sense.

2016 pushed me creatively.  There are no epic wedding portraits, this is all about the relationships, the connections, the moments and the stories that turn a couples wedding day into a much bigger story.  This year saw me dance with Ali & Andy until the end of the night. I braved the cold and the fog to get one last shot of Gemma & Mike, allowing them some time just to be with each other, let it all sink in. I shot some portraits at dusk on the roof of a hacienda in Seville as the couple looked down and saw all their friends and family celebrating. I was lucky enough to enjoy a ride to the ceremony of Emma & Ajay in an Aston Martin with Goldfinger blasting out at full volume.  I have awesome memories from every wedding that will always make me smile. I’ve given my all to my couples, made some amazing friends, created some of my favourite photographs and appreciated every kind word my couples and wedding guests have bestowed upon me.  I am so grateful to every couple that has invited me to be a part of their wedding, trusted me to tell their story, given me the freedom to do what I do and laughed with me when I have been over excited about a backdrop or photo I have taken.  I still have to pinch myself that I get to capture photographs for a living  and I have to say I bloody love my job.

2016 you were all sorts of awesome. Now come on 2017 lets have some fun.
