Horniman Museum Weddings

Helen & James

These two know how to throw a party and to fill their day with personality. I met these two at Most Curious and after a chat, I sent them to the bar. Three hours later they were still there and throughly enjoying their wedding planning.

With a beautiful bespoke blak wedding dress, Helen was unapologetically herself on her wedding day. They picked the beautiful Horniman Museum Conservatory for their wedding ceremony. Despite the heat, Helen & James got married and their ceremony was followed by a hand fasting ceremony led by one of their best friends. Moments like that are just what make photographing weddings so much fun.

After a few photos around the gardens at the Horniman, we headed to One Friendly Place for one hell of a wedding reception. Their tables were named after their favourite bands and gigs, their decorations included skull candles and bike wheels covered in flowers. After heartfelt speeches, which had more giggles than tears, their danced the night away to their friends band who covered some of their favourite songs including a few Weezer covers.
